Remember when we though DLC would fix Waifu Emblem Warriors' roster issues? Well I hear they just announced DLC. The first pack is for Fates, the second for Shadow Dragon, and the third for Awakening. In other words, the only motivation I might have had to get the game just vanished.

    I haven't even played much of the old Fire Emblem games but even I think that the DLC was a slap in the face

    Is it just characters though? If it is, I'm not buying ANY of them, and none of it better come out on Launch Day like it did for Echoes. That's still one of the worst DLC schemes on the 3DS. But I will give them credit for finding a way to make everyone mad at them, in addition to the ignored backlash, AGAIN. One of these videos is bound to get more dislikes than likes.

    I was just about done with the game once they said it would only be Dates, Awakening, and Shadow Dragon at launch, then I gave it another chance for DLC, and if they added good Shadow Dragon characters. Then they gave use Lyn, and Celica as "Shadow Dragon" characters instead of others like Merric, Camus, Linde, Hardin, Minerva, any of the whitewings etc.

    Now they announce they won't even be taking an idea from Hyrule warriors, and adding DLC from other games in the series. It's just a mess at this point, because everything nearly besides the series inclusion looks great. It's too bad.

    I really hope I'm wrong when I say I heard some developers say that each character can only use 1 weapon. Not only is that a big step SDRAWKCAB← from Hyrule Warriors, but it's completely UNfaithful to the main series. But there is still hope, because there is a possibility that the Intelligent Systems team making FE Switch is taking notes on what NOT to put in the game.

    It's funny when people compare Hyrule to FE warriors saying "But no one complained about the roster in Hyrule warriors, and it did the same thing!" Because it didn't, and Zelda and Fire Emblem are drastically different.

    The reason I got Hyrule Warriors is because of its fun roster, and tbh the game itself is pretty good too, so I never bother with the game's fanservice very much.
