I think Samus isn't good against Mario, because Mario can use his Super Cape to reflect all Samus's cannon blasts. But whoever uses Mario needs the right timing to reflect those projectiles... And for whoever uses Samus, should be extra careful when using missiles and the charge shot, or just try to attack directly.
