Off topic or not, protect your home, stay safe.

A few hours ago, somebody tried to break into my house through a window, and I caught a glimpse of a pocketknife trying to pry or open. This lad didn't get close to entering my house, but knowing the kind of people out there, crazy people will do crazy things. If they can't get what they want, they'll fight you for it. ( cont )

  • A kid in my area went missing on Sunday. There are some crazy people in this world... if only we could all be at peace...

  • For the love of god, no matter who you are on the other end of the site, just stay safe. Never leave your windows open, lock the doors, and don't attempt to fight off an intruder who's armed. This may not be the case for some, but others? They may live dangerous places, and see this kind of stuff everyday. It's not a nice world, surely everyone knows that, often full of criticism and judgement.

  • It's sad to know sometimes, you're not even safe at home. I am no safety expert, but I have a few tips. For those eighteen or older, I recommend getting security systems like Lifelock or the Slogan Shield. Why Lifelock? Many of you will be needing to get a good credit score and financial aid-but this also puts you at risk, should your identity be snagged. For your home monitoring your house...

For those younger than 18, Lock your doors and windows. Common sense, but don't trust people you're not familiar with. If something doesn't sound right, it's probably not right at all. • Wally, it's about time they learn a thing or two. No offense, but most kids these days are blind to what's going on in the real world. I'm worried about the younger generation just learning how to fit in-because they won't know what's happening until it's too late.

U can't blame the parents Wally. Some parents are amazing at raising children but some people are just not up to par with the standards of being a normal human being. I'd hate to say it & I love him but my Brother including. My parents are great parents but he still fell into drugs & gangs. Sometimes outside influences have strong impacts on people that are easily persuaded

  • That must've been scary. I've never had that happen to me, but I hope that never happens to you again, Shane. Luckily I take karate so I can be safe from most strangers.
