【悲報】今月1日に、アメリカラスベガスで起きた銃乱射事件で　北海道日本ハムファイターズ　の　レアード選手　のいとこが巻き込まれ、亡くなっていたことが分かりました。レアード選手はホークスの　デスパイネ　選手とタイトル争いをしていましたが、CSシーズンには出場せず家で休養をとると発表しました。栗山監督は、『家族のことを第一に考えて欲しい』と語りました。
