story time! so, back in 1st grade to 5th grade, i was treated as the equivalent of the bubonic plague. no one wanted to partner up with me in group activities, no one wanted to sit with me at lunch, no one wanted to touch something i had touched, etc. it was actually semi–traumatizing for me, i had counselors breathing down my neck, and even worse, there was a game known throughout the school as–

    – the "jessetouch" where, if i came near someone, they would be infected, and they even acted like they were infected, when i got near someone, they would get up, start wiping themself off like they need to be quarantined, and get away as fast as they could. now, me being a smol child, i couldn't do much about it, so i just sat there as they made fun of me with very offensive jokes, but i snapped–

    –s though, because the whole reason i did it was to keep some stupid children from talking about them, i was asked to leave the office, but while i was sitting on a bench outside of the office, i heard the principal and counselor talking to eachother that they thought this would happen because my last name means "knife maker" in german, so in other words, because of my last name, i was branded a–

    –s an aggressive person because of my last name. after this incident, i had told my parents about this, and we had a good laugh, i stayed at the school though, because now everyone either respected me, or were more scared of me than before (i.e the kid i punched) so that's my experience in elementry school, hope yours wasn't nearly as bad :3
