Pokemon Pearl post game

so l got pokemon pearl back in July, but l just yesterday FINALLY beat Cynthia and now l try ti catch Azelf, but every time l throw a Pokeball he won't stay in!lm hoping someone can help but l should prob keep trying. also it is very frustrating to track down Azelf, and he just flees. any tips?

    For Marshadow: On Oct 9th-23rd, you can go 2 Gamestop and ask for a Marshadow code. Enter it in Mystery Gift and he's all yours.

    In order to catch Azelf or any Pokémon you will need to lower it's health and give it a status condition, paralysis for example. Then Ultra Balls and patience.

    Oh, in order to stop it from escaping use a move like Block which stops it from running away.
