9月30日。最後の砦を出てグレイグ将軍や兵士達と合流した俺は、魔物の軍勢を迎え撃つ。魔物の親玉を倒すと、魔物達は撤退した。勝利の余韻も束の間、最後の砦に戻った俺と将軍は魔物に占拠されたデルカダール城へ向かう事をデルカダール王に命じられた。これまで出現していた魔物の種類や分布が変化するのは、恐らく「DQ8」以来か。しかし、世界がここまで荒れるのはこれまでの「DQ」には恐らくないだろう。
