Scouting!

So, I've put 200 hours into this game, mostly focused on exploration. I'm level 59. But I've only been scouted once! I need to get scouted three times for one of the achievements, and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Could... Some of you look me up? My player name is Mert. Let me know if you want me to return the favor, cause I need to do lots of scouting as well! Thanks :)

  • You need more than just a name to look someone up on the scouting console. The criteria is Level, Class, Melee Weapon, and Ranged Weapon.

  • Thanks Travis! I'll make a new post later with all that info, after I get home and can play the game.

  • I think your scout gets bumped up the list each time you save, not sure though. Save often just incase. My scout has 100 Treasure sensor & +2k ranged attack if you need it, I just want to put my.....2.8k hours to use for others. ^-^ If you want a specific class for the main weapon pool, I can change it for you. It's currently Full Metal Jaguar for having Dual Guns & Dual Swords in the main pool.

  • Less than 30 minutes and I'm too late to help... I'll at least say this: If you want to keep your scout info intact while using another build, go to settings, social settings, scout section, automatically update scout info by saving *no*.

  • Thanks! I've just started playing around with actually decent builds now, so I'll keep that in mind.

  • While I'm here, I've got a semi-unrelated question. Something slightly strange happened when I completed a mission involving killing lophids; I used one of the "hold R" team commands right as we killed the final lophid for the mission, and then shortly afterward, we all died to a nearby tyrant. Can stuff like this mess up mission progression in any way?

  • It shouldn't. Why you ask?

  • I dunno, it just did this weird thing where it delayed the completion of the mission a bit and I was worried I glitched it up somehow. It appears to be fine though.

  • You mean a Squad Mission? Then you'll have to give more details because I don't see how you'd be placed near the tyrant.

  • No, a basic mission.

  • Yeah......I should stop posting so late at night! XD As long as it was completed, it should be fine.
