Who is the best character in super smash bros 4?

I think the answer would just be the character with the highest stats. I would like to know other people's opinions

    smash doesn't really work in a "highest stats = best character" sort of way. first of all because a lot of stats aren't objectively good or bad; things like fall speed or a move's knockback can be a blessing or a curse depending on the situation. what you wanna look for is: what are the character's strengths in neutral? what are their reliable kill options? how's their matchup spread?
