noob neds help

what exactly do the 3 options offer? I don't see anyone walking/running around in the multiplayer mode, and don't really have any friends (no favourites at all) to see whats the difference for the third option lastly what is the circle thing on the right, and what happens when it's full?

  • Yeah.....the "multiplayer" squad isn't really that, it's just a separate squad that can be more active. The multiplayer is actually limited to Squad Missions. I was confused at first too! I waited for maybe an hour for my friend to move. =_= Friend's Squad highlights every friend on AND not hidden. It shows each squad they're in and you can join ONLY IF YOU'RE NOT BLOCKED or it's full *rare*.

  • *If it's NOT full. I really wish I could edit that comment. -_- The circle represents how many Squad Missions are done/are needed for the Global Nemesis Ygg to appear. Global Nemesis "GN" are optional bosses to fight for fun or for tickets *multiplayer allowed* Ygg is very powerful!! Beats max level players! The requirement to join is 1 Blade Medal per run & level 1 (do NOT be fooled by that!).

  • There are 3 types of runs for GN, Free Runs which are just that (anything fun for all), RP Runs which focus on fighting with certain apps intact for max damage *Ygg's heart against Ygg & 1 inner wing for the other GN + Core Crusher + Ether attacks required for ALL GN RP Runs* (battle will likely be abandoned if all appendages, or apps are broken) which they try to communicate through Free Reports.

  • And ticket runs, which gives you tickets when you break the apps and exchange them at the circular room console via "Global Nemesis Spoils" or something close to that. It may seem like RP runs & Ticket runs are at odds, but both can be done in the same run. Only the specific apps are needed intact, the rest are actually broken for the RP run. But for many RP runs, the party is already set.

  • Some leave if you join the room because not everyone has Free Reports on to communicate these things and would break all apps anyways. Please don't take it personally if this happens, which may happen more often after Miiverse ends... Just telling you so you don't get upset by these things happening and not knowing why. As long as you have online etiquette, you're good! Tired...good-night! =_=

  • Sorry, I just read your comment. Friend's Squad shows you what squad your friends are in and you can join one of those squads...as long as it's not full and you're not blocked by anyone there... Squads are rarely full, but people DO block players for using Free Reports though...which happens way too often. -_- So watch out for that...

  • To send Free Reports you tap the keyboard icon on the gamepad screen and type on the gamepad. Holding L & pressing up on d-pad tags it with spoilers. The people who block either do so by accident, not knowing that they prevent you from joining friends' squads, or even know that they are (trolls). There's only about a month left for Miiverse and therefore Free Reports as well, so... :/

  • Umm.....there are 2 achievements connected to Free Reports. One is sending your first Free Report. I suggest you delete your last comment. The other one is for recommending a Free Report, not the Miiverse Free Reports but a live Free Report.

  • The only difference I've ever noticed, in my 220 hours of playing, is that I get online mission requests from time to time in the "multiplayer" squad, and no such requests in "single player."

  • As I said, Conquest Squad is usually more active. I didn't go for multiplayer til after I finished story & most aff missions. Sometimes high lvl players go to Lifehold Squad for various reasons, otherwise it's usually quiet. Actually, it can be quiet no matter what squad. Even those who chat through Free Reports are quiet from time to time, even if their friends are there.

  • Blocking players prevents those blocked from joining the same squad, even if they just want to join friends there. I've encountered FAR too many trolls who do this...and I mean trolls because they KNOW how badly it affects the blocked player yet do it anyways. v_v
