Sometimes I wonder. No matter what, I'm always somewhat influenced by something. Emotion, environment, etc. So, are there or will there ever be points when my thoughts aren't truly mine? Are they ever fully mine to begin with? What is "me"?

What if our minds were free from all influence unless we chose to be influenced? How would that world function? Would it even function? To what limit are we ourselves? If we are strongly influenced, are we acting on our own personal traits or on what we are being influenced to do? Or both?

Otherwise, we would all spend our lives individually learning the same things that everybody else spent their lives learning. This fact of humanity is used for good and for evil, to condition people for whatever it is that the big guys in charge want to push on us. It sounds crazy, but unfortunately, it's mostly true. Keep an open mind, but don't lose your individuality! X)

well imagine final fantasy as a hack n slash with a bunch of disney worlds. that's one part of kingdom hearts. the other half is anoormas nonsense philosophy which this post reminded me of.
