My top ten most wanted characters + honorable mentions!

No long and rambling description this time, title says it all!

I've listed all these characters before, but i'm going to do it again. Ridley aside, there's: Rundas Gandrayda Ghor The six hunters of MPH (trace, kanden, spire, noxus, weavel (my personal choice out of them) & sylux (the most popular choice)) & even a galactic federation soldier! I even thought of another one: there were mini kraids in super metroid, so you could include one of those!

In total: That's 10 potential characters! And if they were to include ridley, & mini kraid: then that's 12 potential characters! So why do they not include more? look i'm not saying they should include all of them at once that would be to much! But i'm just saying with so many potential candidates how & why do they not include more?

Oh it seems i missed a metroid character...well i'll get to that, but first: the honorable mentions!

Honorable mention 1: waluigi! I must admit; i didn't get at first why people wanted him so much, don't get me wrong, i love him in the mario series, but i didn't get why people wanted him so much. but after see movesets people came up with for him (particularly on youtube), he's grown on me!

That said, there's still too many mario characters which is why he's an honorable mention! But, i have a simple solution to this problem, & i can sum it up in five words: GET. RID. OF. DR. MARIO (& by that i mean make him into an alt. skin, like he was originally intended to be), it's as simple as that!

Honorable mention 2: zero from megaman x! Not gonna lie, i always wanted zero over megaman, he's my favorite character from this series! He actually was going on the list originally, but i ultimately excluded him for a couple of reasons:-

-1) As i've said before i wanted to keep the list focused, 2) there seems to be an unspoken, but very likely rule that we can only have one third-party character per franchise, & 3) he's already in MvC infinite so it's unlikely that he can be in two fighting games at once! But hey, guy can hope!

Honorable mention 3: shovel knight! While i really do like shovel knight (the game & the character), & think that he does have alot of potential for a good moveset, i've really wanted him as much as other people. Still with how many cameos he's made in other games, & given how he was one of the most voted for characters on the ballot, whether i really want him or not, he's probably getting in!

Honorable mention 4: specter knight! Yep! Yet another character from shovel knight, & one i kind of want more then title character (i'm a sucker for scythe wielders)! But i choice the skull because of more unique qualities, it's unlike that specty would get in over the title character, & because of that unspoken rule about third-party characters, he's even less likely to get in unfortunately!

& Lastly, honorable mention 5: various kingdom hearts characters! While xehanort is the character from this series the most (for the reason said & more), like i also said, any of the other characters from this series would more then suffice! If i had to choose a second most wanted character from this series: i'd be riku!

Anyway enough with the honorable mentions! it's time to get to my most wanted character, but after a little break!

My #1 most wanted is.....DARK SAMUS! This probably comes as no surprise to those who have read some of my previous posts. As i've said in the past; i do want dark samus, alot! But, to this day, i still cannot say exactly why i want over any of the characters on this list, including the other metroid characters!

& I know it's ironic that i just joked about how the only metroid characters are two versions of samus, & yet i constantly advocate for the inclusion of (basically) another samus!

But i think DS has enough moves to work with. They could take her assist trophy attacks & with a bit of tweaking, they would be pretty good smash attacks. They could have her utilize some of samus' arsenal that she herself doesn't use in smash (such as, but not limited to: the ice spreader for a neutral-b, & the boost ball for side-b).-

-They could use that attack from echoes where she flings herself at you like a comet, that'd make a pretty good recovery. But probably coolest thing they could do with her, would be to give her the ability to generate her "dark echoes" to assist her in combat! & That's not even all the moves they could use!

It's really disappointing that she keeps getting excluded, i've wanted this character echoes, & even more so after corruption. I don't get why she keeps getting excluded ether: she is one of the more well know metroid characters, unlike ridley there's no big (no pun intended) issues with her, & between all the moves i talked about & then some, she could be at the very least a semi-clone!

Still there is some hope she could get included, while i do despise that assist trophy (mainly because of it's weak attacks, & bad AI), i do admit, it does draw attention to the character, but more importantly, just like charizard & little mac there is a good chance that much those characters she will be playable in the next smash! So there's that at least!

So i've only got one major discussion left, & i actually have a date for it: november the 1st! Yes, it's going to be an end of miiverse discussion! Where i'm going to talk about various things ranging from my experience on this place, some parting thoughts on smash 4, my thoughts on the WII U, 3DS, nintendo switch, among other things, all leading up to the eventual shutdown!

But in the mean time, i think i'm going to do play journal entries on many of the characters i want, detailing exactly what i want out of them! Everything from their movesets, attributes, costumes, everything!
