my final impressions

After finishing the main game, i enjoyed it lots. The new mechanics felt like they belonged, and the game never lost the metroid feeling. The gameplay was basic, simple but challenging. My one liked improvement was the space jump being easy to pull off for once, the one trick that gave me troubles in Fusion as it near impossible, esp since you needed it alot in that game.

    The backgrounds were alive and made the planet feel creepy at times. My one major issue was that too many metroids were identicle in the first half of the game, the second half made up for that, Loved that the game was extended past where the original ended and added that final boss no metroid can be without cause hes in all of them.
