D'après Lewis (FireLewis), ce n'est pas le service online de la Wii U et 3DS qui vont fermer mais uniquement Miiverse. Entre autre, tout ce qui va seulement changer dans Splatoon c'est qui n'aura plus de message et dessins, et on ne pourra pas utiliser la boite à lettre. Mais on peut continuer à jouer online.
