Sheik can destroy Ryu if she wants. People just play against him wrong.

Just camp him. I don't know why Sheiks approach Ryus if it will just get them hit. Ryu can't do anything against needles so I don't know why Sheiks do that. Camp him, don't approach.

    That or Sheik can approach with Bouncing Fish If he shields you just bounce off and can escape. Land then shield his punish.

    This is why I say Cloud and Sheik cover each other's bad matchups perfectly. (Yes, including Bowser and DK since Sheik camps them out) Main reason why they don't camp? The audience. Like anyone cares about them if they play to win.
