skyward sword has an unhealthy obsession with mandatory collectathons. you can't get anywhere in the game without some obnoxious fetch quest being required to proceed. this is the only zelda game where you need to collect pieces of a key just to enter the temple.

    The motion controls for the combat make all of the annoyances worth it. I wish there wasn't so much mandatory side questing, but the combat keeps me hooked and interested in continuing my adventure.
