April, you were that excited huh? ;) I might have a look at it, but I have my eyes set on either the mario and luigi 3ds remake or paper jam from 2015 and one of the dragon quest games available for 3DS, so 7 or 8.

I actually bought all 4 of the previous Prof. Layton games (Dead cheap), but they all seemed sort of silly. Although this one might be better, I guess only time will tell.

@d knight the professor layton stories are a little daft but its the puzzles that i like so i enjoy them i have all the layton games there are more than 4 though

Aw man, I want the new Layton game too now. Trouble is, last time I had one, I was too young to properly enjoy it and do the puzzles. Wonder if I'll be better now I'm older. Have you completed a Leyton game though?

yes pete completed all the first three, they are actually only ones i played i bought the others and didn't play them, will get round to them eventually lol just bought the new laytons mystery journey game today along with mario&luigi superstar saga + bowsers minions and i got dragonball xenoverse 2 for switch so i have plenty of games to keep me busy lol

If you're talking about the Prof.Layton and Phoenix Wright crossover, I don't consider crossover games a game in the related franchises because A. It doesn't seem fair, B. Not everone likes ALL the parties e.g. I only like 3 of the 6 cartoons featured in Cartoon Network Battle Crashers and C. A lot of the crossover games I've seen in my time are AWFUL.

@D Knight i was not inc the vs phoenix wright games or the new game that came out last week, only original professor layton games, there are 6 original professor layton games the curious village pandoras box the lost future the spectre's call the miracle mask the azan legacy

@pete looking back at my layton games its the first 4 i completed the original ds ones i didn't have 3ds when they switched them to 3ds only, but i bought them when i got 3ds but never got round to playing them same as the layton vs wright never played that either but i have one of those

Ah ok, but if you can do Layton games, how come you leave zelda games, they revolve around puzzles. ;) Ah I still need to get mario and luigi paper jam from 2015, have the new 3ds remake on wiiu virtual console but have never really played much of it. Personally, I've been playing the star wars battlefront 2 beta on ps4. Don't think I've asked if you have a ps4 or xbox one?

@pete no i don't my step-son has ps4 and ps3. i stopped at ps2 and xbox360, i enjoyed my ps and ps2, i only used my xbox 360 once didn't like it and its been left in tv cabinet since lol. i dont see many ps or xbox games im intested in they both seem to have the same old stuff on them.

I also stopped at PS2 but I never got any XBOX consoles. Watchmojo.com has even admitted PS2 was one of if not THE GREATEST SELLING HOME CONSOLE EVER.

@Scamp- Well there's sequels and continuation of games everywhere but they all have some sort of new idea to them. And you didn't answer my question on zelda. ;) Ps4 and Xbox seem to regularly have betas, demo's and free weekends which is great for new experiences. And obviously the switch doesn't get every game so it's worth having them in my opinion.

@pete i just never got far with zelda, different type of puzzles/format, but i have enjoyed botw, i may go back and try my other zeldas again. i'm not interested in the games i see on ps and xbox now theres just not enough for me to justify buying another console for. most games i play on my wii, wii u, ds/3ds and switch are nintendo games.

Zelda games can be really satisfying to finish, so I always regret the ones that I haven't done. :P
