“Once known as the King of Thieves, Ganondorf Dragmire used the power of the Triforce to become the beast, Ganon.” This is in Ganondorf's entry on the official Zelda site's online guide. So I guess this pretty much means he officially has a last name now.

    @ Didi the surname Dragmire was only added to the NA instruction booklet for ALttP and was never in the original Japan or even the European versions so it was never considered canon.

    The name was last seen in the English LttP manual. In the time between now and recently there was skepticism if the name was canon or not.

    Yeah but that website is the same one that used to have the old Zelda encyclopedia on it and it was full of errors and contradictions. That and there's no Japanese equivalent of that web page so as far as Japan is concerned the name Dragmire still hasn't shown up in any of their official material.
