I...I don't know what to say right now. I'm at my wits end. The weapon on my back, the one I put so much effort into obtaining, I got that from grinding black Diabloses. Untold numbers of black Diabloses. Compared to what it took to get this weapon, assembling the armor was a piece of cake...

And now the wiki tells me that you can get the same design - Leumundslist - from Velocidrome quests. Like the ones I had ALREADY been grinding for the aforementioned armor. I...just... I'm going to take a break from video games...

Of course, none of my Vdrome quests have a glaive bias, or I would've noticed. ¯\(°_o)/¯

Wowie, that must've been frustrating. At least it feels more rewarding to have that glaive after all those Black Diablos.

Yeah, that's one of the first things that spring to mind after something like this. "Well, maybe it had a purpose..." ...because accepting the alternative just feels too effin uncomfortable. lol us humans amirite (;^^)

I discussed this with moustache, and it reminded both of us of this plot device that you sometimes encounter in martial arts movies. You know, the part where the old master subjects his student to some ridiculously over-the-top training regimen, and in the end it turns out there was a shortcut, like the mountain had an elevator, or he technically only had to carry the buckets, not the water...

And then, in the most ridiculous sounding old man voice, the guy goes: "Oh, but look at you now. Can't you see how much the struggle has made you grow as a person?" And I was like "F YOU MASTER ROSHI!!!" That was around 2 in the morning. I might've woken up the neighbors with that one. xD

But he was right about one thing. In an "outburst of frustration" I actually went and deleted the lvl.140 Black Diablos quest (not the weapon tho, heck no). I don't even regret doing it. I guess that was just my way of putting an end to this. Sorry, ignore my rambling. I just needed to vent a little. I've never played a game so intensely, and I probably never will again. It really isn't healthy.

Relatable. I started playing this game (Crossout, if you were wondering) a while back. There was one friggin part I needed for my car and I was trying to get it. I ended up getting it after like 50 battles, but that's when I realised that I could friggin buy it for basically nothing. You could say that I got a bit angered over that one.

Anyway, at least you got SOMETHING from it. You must have learned its moveset or somethin'. It's not exactly bad for you, minus the fact that you spent a long time doing that and most likely have a hatred for Black Diablos now. You became better at killing innocent animals, on the bright side.

You're right, in that I probably shouldn't complain, if that's what you're getting at. There are tons of people out there who've gone through the same thing, and a good portion of them most likely spent a lot more time on it than I did (and with much less success) and yet... Normally you look back on something like this and think "Wow, whatta ride, but hey I did it! W00!" but this just wasn't fun

The triplets were different. The first couple times I tried that they just murdered me. I forced myself to learn hammer, despite hating slow weapons, but when I finally got the hang of it, it became super fun. Farming edgy dino-cows, though...that's when it turned into WORK. Every minute of free time, just going through the motions. Maybe I just approached it with the wrong mindset...

But like I said, don't mind me. I just needed to let it all out, although, all things considered the internet probably isn't the best place for that. It never is. Still better than posting tear-filled vlogs on youtube. I'm not planning to sink THAT low. :P >You became better at killing innocent animals AND ISN'T THAT WHAT HUNTING IS ALL ABOUT?! *Fonzie pose* AAAAAYYYYY!!! XD

Red, I realize this might end up sounding passive-aggressive, so please don't take this the wrong way, but if you're aching to take a break from something, how about the internet?

j/k Ish okeh. You've got a point ((sorta(again))(...)I guess(?)) (;-ω-) Maybe I should go back and finish Stories, but WITHOUT writing angry blog posts about its nonsensical story. Now THAT sounds like an interesting challenge. >:3

That's actually a pretty good idea for a challenge. It took me all my willpower to not go off and post something I'd regret. I've been banned once and I'm not really wanting it to happen again. xD
