    Its not too hard once you know what it is. I was actually really surprised that it was such a simple concept. Octol and Hexadecimal are similar but use a base 8 and base 16 which makes them a tad bit harder. I had to memorize these for electronics classes but have forgotten how to do them. There's also a dialect of binary called grey scale that converts it into a better computer language.

    I'd have to look at my notes on it, but I think it is done by hooking up AND gates in series with one another and putting the binary code in on the inital. The logic on the output on each individual gate gives you grey scale if I remember correctly.
