Pokemon has evolved from a very low standard and then with the power of mystery and unique ability it turned in what is now pokemon Ultra sun and Ultra moon. Another thing is is that the pokemon gigalith needs a mega evolution because it is powerful but it would get more attention and would get people to at least think about it's performance in battle and it's rarity in the games.
