According to 3 different eye doctors (within 7 years time), my eyes are considered to be "photophobic". When I first heard this, I was thinking... ..."Phobic" is "the fear of". Therefore, I must be afraid...of PHOTOGRAPHS?!?

A big, hairy, snarling monster is after me! Yawn. It's a picture of a sleeping kitten. HELP! I'm SCARED!

Actually, the "photo" part of "photophobic" is "light" -- as in PHOTOns or PHOTOsynthesis. Thus, my eyes are adverse to bright light.

@Benson You have the power of light? Just as long as they aren't pictures.

@Zetsu I didn't notice your fire weapons. Fire gives off light. I should probably avoid you.

@Zetsu Of course, I know a female that would LOVE to have your weapons! She's somewhat of a pyro.

@Muerto Darkness is better. When I'm in sunlight, I feel fine, but my right eye is terrible, sometimes making things brighter than it should be. It's not serious, it just sucks to have that happening. My eye hasn't done it lately, so I guess it fixed itself up. Idk, it doesn't effect me alot, so I don't consider it a problem. Neither does the eye doctor. Said it may go away in a few years time.

@Muerto It goes of and on every time. But it has happened to everyone in my family, and we all have horrible eye sight out of our right eye (except my little brother.)

@Zetsu Since everyone, EXCEPT your younger brother, has this issue...tell your brother that he just doesn't belong. PS: I have a younger sister. I have no problem telling her that she doesn't belong. It's a sibling thing.

My eyes slowly got more photophobic over the course of 3 years. Direct sunlight (NOT looking INTO Solaris, itself...just BEING in sunlight) causes my eyes to remain shut. I can, sometimes, manage to squint them open. When light hits my eyes directly (flash, strobe, or just me looking at a light), my eyes water. I have trouble being outside, on a sunny day.

Luckily, I live in the Northwest! For those who don't know, it's a region in America consisting of Oregon & Washington. It's constantly raining, for the most part.
