Dropping Link...

Ever since I started to play Link a LOT better, I thought there wouldn't be any spammers or campers. But no, one player on For Glory decided to spam EVERY PROJECTILE AS LINK! Even the Clawshot, thanks a lot to him, I just lost hope. I'm never using Link on For Glory ever again and never maining him ever again!

    Ok. Others playing in that style doesn’t make that an actual play style. You have your own play style, they have theirs. You can prove that you’re a better Link player than those spammers.

    That's a shame cause Link is really good too. Don't let one bad apple ruin the whole batch. Link can still be a main if you want him too be, he is can be diversified by many different attacks and combos. This is just my opinion however.

    sure Link is known for having a FG play style but you can make your own! like mine! what I do is zone out the other player then go in for my stronger attacks

    Just because someone was spamming moves with your main doesn't mean you should drop them entirely. I'm a Pit main and 95% of the time I go against another Pit, they only ever use Palutena's Bow and Upperdash Arm, but I still main him because I like his playstyle and his character as a whole.

    ^ Basically what Uprising said. You shouldn't drop a character you enjoy just because others play him in obnoxious ways.

    Just outsmart people, just because scrubs play as him in an obnoxious and rage inducing way doesn't mean you have to drop him.

    Toon Link had a similar playstyle (thus, I dropped him for Luigi) So what do you do when somebody uses a spammy Link? Simple. Use Fox/Falco/Anybody with some kind of reflector, and spam that. Works for me 50% of the time.
