Okay, I've finally figured something very important out! I've never played anything this deep and complicated (or maybe I'm just dumb), BUT THEN AGAIN, the game never actually explained it to me: a lot of weapons and armour pieces have different attributes, and instead of just equiping those that have higher numbers on them, you should choose those that you deem more important.

    Some of it is in the instruction manual but yeah, there's a lot of info. But at the same time, if they explained everything in-game, they'd definitely bog down the gameplay a lot by making it too tutorial heavy.
