    there have been worse ideas, after all mario and flipping RABBIDS is a thing but i would prefer more games than just awakening, like maybe FE6, and 7, or radiant dawn and path of radiance

    Well, while there is no OFFICIAL timeline everyone basically agrees that all the games but 2 are connected through the same story line, except for fates of course, but anyway, those games are Fire emblem 6: The Binding Blade and Fire emblem 7: The Blazing Sword, in 6 you play as Roy, son of the marquess of pherae, Eliwood, his father becomes ill and 15 year old Roy, and must act as general

    7 acts as a prequel to 6, you play as Roy's father Eliwood and his friends Hector and Lyn, it has something similar of a situation similar to 6, Eliwood's father goes missing and he must find them, he is 17 in his game, but basically they are the odd ones out when it comes to the fire emblem timeline, but seeing how Binding Blade will be remade next, we may or may not see a connection

    if you liked awakening you should give those a try, start with 7 though, 6 is known as one of the hardest fire emblem games to be made, (and also play echoes)

    thats fair, and while echoes may not have as much fanservice such as S supports (given there is still fanservice) it is an amazing and emotional story, i have a feeling you would love it
