Fact: in the letter, it used to say 'kuribo' shoe. This means 'goomba' in Japanese. This was removed in the final game, but it could still be in the Japanese versions. [?]

    Goomba's shoe is just the translation of Kuribo shoe. Peach says this just as a hint for the world 3 and it's not related to the item she gives you.
