    WAAAAIT that can't be true... I hope it's not true. The Wii Shop is still open so I'd think the Wii U Eshop would be open aswell

    I doubt it honestly. Mind you it'll go eventually, but I highly doubt it'll go at the same time miiverse does. Remember that they're only just now discontinuing the Wii's eshop, so I imagine they'll keep the Wii U eshop up for at least a few more years.
