    Nintendo is done with Miiverse because Miiverse doesn't do anything for Nintendo.Currently on Switch players share their photos of Splatoon through twitter and Facebook. Millions of people see those photos where as Miiverse is closed to only Miiverse users.miiverse doesn't help Nintendo market, that's why no more Miiverse.Nintendo only cares about the money.

    @Jroviens, exactly! That's why we must complain to Nintendo and force them to open a NEW-VERSE on the Switch, because if we do nothing, Nintendo will think it's okay! If we are going to pay for online services, we must demand a new type of forum on the Switch!!!

    It's not going to happen, as I said Nintendo only cares about the money. The shell out millions to keep all the servers up and monitor Miiverse. With the switch and going through third part social media like Twitter and Facebook they don't have to worry about monitoring it as it is done by those third party media.People can protest all they want, sign all the petitions you want, it won't help.

    Plus the writing literally has been on the wall when they opened the Everyone's Message Community. A place for people to share their fondest memories of Miiverse and say goodbye.They would not of done that if there was any hope of saving it.

    I'm not trying to be negative, I just hate to see people who love this forum so waste their remaining time petitioning to death ears. I haven't been here all that long but even I noticed the huge drop off in users when the closing announcement was made. If Nintendo where going to listen to its fans they would of giving the fans an opportunity to be heard before they made the announcement.
