Hmm. The Minish Cap might just have the best Zelda soundtrack overall. It has great tunes/remixes from across the series and adds a lot of great new ones, too. I'm not sure I can think of a Zelda soundtrack with this many good tracks. You can even unlock an area that lets you listen to them, as I just found out (like, 13 years later! lol).

    Ocarina of Time, Majoras Mask, and Twilight Princess have the best soundtracks imo.

    @GhostEthan: Of the ones you noted, Majora's Mask is the best, IMO. Aside from the new Hyrule Field and expanded village theme, I don't remember a lot of memorable tracks from TP. Ocarina of Time was solid, but not as expansive as MM. Minish Cap just has so much diversity: the epic cloud theme, individual dungeon themes, new village themes, and the Eastern-vibed swamp/ruins music. It's got it all.

    I haven't listened to Minish Cap at all. It is the most underrated zelda though. I'll check these out then. OoT was much more expansive than MM. Each area had its own theme, whereas MM just recycled the same ominous music for all four areas, excluding Termina field and Romani Ranch, and that is just Eponas song/Lon Lon Ranch from OoT. As for Twilight Princess, it had very diverse and cool themes-

    Come to think of it, most everything in MM is recycled music from OoT, excluding the temple themes and maybe any other small tidbits I'm missing.

    Here's my thinking on this, and I could be off. Majora's Mask covers a good swath of OoT's music, but then it adds new temple themes, region themes, the Clock Town themes, the Astral Observatory song, a more traditional overworld theme for Termina Field, the Deku village song, multiple new boss/battle themes, and other minor things here and there...

    Still, looking at and listening to OoT's tracklist...it might be better than Majora's Mask overall. It's just that some of the new stuff in MM sticks out really strongly in terms of atmosphere. But do check out Minish Cap's OST. I still prefer it, track for track, over any of these, I think

    Some recommended MC OST track listening: Cloud Tops, Minish Village, Castor Wilds, Wind Ruins, Hyrule Town, Elemental Sanctuary, Cave of Flames, Deepwood Shrine, Story, Climbing a Beanstalk, Palace of Winds, Temple of Droplets, Inside a Cave, Mt. Crenel, Picori Festival, Royal Valley...Most of those are either completely new or heavily reworked/remixed tunes. There's more classic-based music, too.

    Oops, I totally missed noting "Minish Woods" theme, which is one of the best tracks, too. Speaking of underrated games and soundtracks, the Zelda: Oracle of Seasons/Ages games are underappreciated also. The Tarm Ruins theme and Pirates Gigue theme are two that pop into my mind right away. Ages' time mechanics arguably evolved what OoT started in terms of time-travel puzzles, and Seasons is clever.

    I know. :D My little brother bought Seasons on Virtual Console. Its actually pretty fun, if he'll let me play it. XD I love the title theme.
