Finally unlocked the Multigun - but is it really all it's cracked up to be? Would love some opinions on it, personally I think it's useless... But then again, I only just unlocked it and the Arts I'm using are only at Lv.2 just now, please, anyone want to weigh in on this weapon? \(^o^)/

  • Go for it. Psychos got Dual Dynamo which is learned if you did L's affinity mission. Aesthetically I really liked it. Plus it's effects are pretty neat.

  • I also once shared the same sentiment that Rayguns does look ugly, but... what they could do just flips everything over. In online missions, all I had to do was target and snipe. In didn't need to go into overdrive. The other three EDBers didn't even get a chance to fight, since I was mowing down the entire playing field with my big gun.

  • Also, max Overdrive Count is VERY OP in terms of damage dealt, cooldown and more! Overdrive might be the most underexplained mechanic in the game while among the most powerful.

  • I was spamming the OD and using Furious Blast, often gets 15 hits so I only needed to use it 5 or 6 times for Max OD! I love that tune that plays too! XD

  • All I need to do is press Overdrive twice and I hit Max Overdrive in 1 second. Overdrive count up stacking is so fun.

  • When you run the Support Build that turns Overdrive into a TP/GP feeding machine, you just abuse it just because you can. Mostly because the build makes Overdrive give 3K TP per activation, or basically 0 TP activation with a 3K TP perquisite.

  • Nah, that's just Green SV. Support Builds generally revolve around buffing the party, not killing the opponent. The 0TP Overdrive build requires 2 specific arm gear, 3 armor slots, and 1 skill. It can be combined with Aura Rapid Cooldown, but that would take up most of the armor slots.

  • I've been trying to look into builds both for on foot and Skell, but my phone is being a bit tempramental so I need to dig out my old laptop, but I stood on it a while ago and cracked the screen so that's why I hid it away so I just might get a new phone soon instead... Until then I can't really do much but ask for help and slowly work it out for myself... m(_ _)m

  • The skill is "Grand Procession" & needs to be at max. *Gives 500 TP to entire team (including you) when activating Overdrive* The armor slots & arm traits need "Overdrive: Gain TP", enough to at least get 2500 TP per Overdrive from these. It's actually possible to have a net GAIN of TP spamming Overdrive if it exceeds 3k TP gain return. I use it every time I do this! :3

  • Glad to! Sorry I responded late, I lost internet for a few days. :/ I'd recommend Sniper+Knife support unless you want to topple, then you'd want Shield. You can also use Shield+Psycho Launcher, what weapons you use is up to you though! If you use a support build then you'll want 3-4 Secondary Cooldown & Overdrive Count Up either a weapon, aug, or one of the arms. Just say the type, & I'll help!

  • I just love toppling! It makes me laugh! XD I'm using assault+knife atm, I've not played much the last few days, not been very well, my boiler broke so no heating either so I've just been catching up on TV and playing XC3D now and then while snuggling up in a dozen blankets! XD But if you can help with a better build I'd be SO grateful! I'd like to keep Black Bane if poss but not essential. (^-^)b

  • If you are using Grand Procession and planning oj spamming Overdrive, you can use this to your advantage and allow your teammates go into infinite overdrive as well. Your teammates are recommended to have various debuff arts and equipped with Resistance Reducer augments. Your primary job would be to make sure your teammate stays alive long enough so that they can stack lots of various debuffs on

  • the enemy so you Black Bane receives some major damage increase when you use it. Smooth Recovery is pretty good option to use. You can try your hand in Ghost Factory, a dualgun art which is better but requires TP to use.

  • The only other options that keep Black Bane are Raygun and Psycho Launcher, if you have high Sec CD count then Raygun is viable but no stun arts or Psycho Launcher with either TP Topple art and I think 3 sec stun. Psycho Launchers have two great auras too while Raygun only has one that boosts app damage+ranged attack+potential. Not sure if the aura is compatible with Core Crusher though.

  • I'll have to check exactly what I have at the moment, my head is a bit too stuffy to concentrate properly at the moment but as soon as I feel up to it I'll tell you what I have, I know that I can give more damage to toppled monsters, but I just can't think straight atm... m(_ _)m

  • Apparently Master Gunner isn't compatible with Core Crusher, but Raygun has Gravity & Ether Res up buffs while Psycho Launcher has Elec Res up & Astral Protection aura so it's up to you. Also, Knife has Phys Res up.
