    Sorry that happened to you. My data once got corrupted in Mario Kart 7, and I lost everything, except my StreetPass tags. It took me a while to get everything back, so it's a good reminder to not give up when things get rough out of nowhere.

    Well, losing a disc won't eliminate hard work in game progress. It's still saved in the console's memory, not on disc(thank goodness!)

    Yeah, this is why I wish Nintendo sold official...you know...ways to get your data back, or edit the data yourself, if you could somehow show proof that it happened. It's just far too common, whether it gets corrupted, or something happens to the console(or game cartridge). Since there's no cloud saves, that would be the next best thing, but we all know Nintendo hates those kinds of things.
