Posting this for first time players: people will often recommend that you use high-level scouts, but it's unnecessary. If you spend time farming gear for your own team and upgrade their battle traits, you'll find they're just as capable as any scout. Doug (seen here) is one of the best examples, I can give him another Melee Attack Up XX, but his total melee attack is already at 926.
