I wouldn't ask my parent because they would say no....And I've been planning for years to leave and see the world... I also can fight

But fighting isn't going to help. I've been doing karate for 1 and a half years, but there are other problems. Your parents will worry long and hard if you ran away. Everyone likes adventure, there's two forest like places I looove to explore in. If you want to adventure badly, ask your parents to go on a day trip somewhere, or wander around nearby, anywhere you can turn back.

Sorry I took that so seriously, I said "ask your parents," like, a million times, I swear.

How long do you think you'd be able to survive on your own... Work laws make it illegal to get a job under the age of 16 years old. Forest flora and fauna could be hazardous for consumption if not researched. Non contaminated water is probably difficult to find. ect.

@chase you probably wouldn't be able to find any food, since eating plants is dangerous and you wouldn't be able to digest them. and as for eating wild animals, first of all, you would need to live in a rural area and you would need like a weapon to hunt them with, and could you really kill a cute little bunny?

Just.Don't.Do.Pick.Pocketing. trust me, my friend did it once and he said 1 month in jail is not fun.

Ouch, a month in jail! Everyone will want to run away at one point, but how about your family, friends, future? Running away can cause an array of worry, a scar that might never heal. Again, I'm such a bad advice giver, AGH

@ Checkji I'm no survivalist, but, I've shut down a lot emotionally. so making a decision like that, yes, I think I could. truthfully, if someone's hungry enough, they'd be able to do just about anything to survive. I'd simply prefer not to. Setting traps would probably be preferable to hunting in my opinion.

Ultimately, the comment from before was to demonstrate some of the difficulties that'd be inherent in running away. Since I don't know the original posters home life situation, if dealing with that amount of difficulty is preferable to living at home, it could very well be a situation to were she might need to be removed from the situation. it can be easy to forget that not all parents are good pe

people after all, I don't think this is the case since she's communicating her intent through a $300 video game system that she has access to and can recreate on, but I don't like the idea of ruling out the possibility.

don't run away anyway you'll probably have to go back home in a space of time between a few hours to a day because you'll either be hungry, you'll chicken out, the police notified by your parents would find you and bring you home or you'll be kidnapped and/or r/aped. the last one happens quite often espacially in my country
