    Are you referencing the Nobodies from Kingdom Hearts? Many of them were actually cooler than the main characters. I'd rather see Roxas as a protagonist over Sora any day. Plus, Namine, Axel, and Xion were all awesome. Marluxia was a better villain, too.

    If not and you're really having an existential crisis, you might consider reading Descartes. He was a philosopher that got fed up with the skeptics of his day that doubted everything and set out to prove them wrong. He came up with the famous quote, "I think, therefore I am", which served as the basis of knowledge.
