Palicoes are the one thing I haven't really worked with in this game yet, any tips?

There little buddies that will help you out on your quest in various ways, just deploy them in your house and they'll come with.

Palicoes are creatures that help you during quests. When playing solo you can have up to 2 palicoes with you.If its you and a buddy you bring your main palico out along with your buddies. They also can either be your best friend or your most annoying enemy.

Diffrent Fortes might allow palicos to make up for having less power without other hunters. They can do this by attracting attentiin, Healing, Buffing, Causing mounts, Dealing damage with bombs or criticals, Draing stamina, And also placing traps. Unless your doing a speed run Palicos are very helpful even in G rank. (With G equipment)

The ultimate mask is DLC unlocking from of mask and monsters episodic quest. I'm sure if it acts exactly the same as 3u. But it seems to cause palicos do blocking very often resulting in a less time away. Just like in 3u though it drains your palicos health slowly when they are enraged.
