So for example a test with 22 points or 100 points: How much you'd need for an A, B, C.... In our school we get for half of maximum points a 4 (D) which is quiet a bad mark

Grading systems can vary, but the most common one used in the US is (percentages indicate how many questions were answered correctly): A: 90%–100% B: 80%–89% C: 70%–79% D: 60%–69% F: 59% or less Anything below 65% is a failing grade for me. (Thankfully I get at least 90% of my exam questions correct.)

The only tests that count toward my final grade are the exams that come after completing a study unit of (which is a sizable section of) my course. These exams are multiple choice (4 choices) and contain 20 questions.

Well I guess that the amount of points needed for better marks are harder because of the only multiply choice answers. Because on my final exams you even have a 3 (C) with lower than 50% of points but they are hard and very long:o Expect for german. In german we write a text bounded essay or a argument kind of essay (for over 4 hours) and essays are like my only problem >_< What do you of them

Essays seem supplemental to me, as they ask for your opinion on matters. I don't remember if I've done any, but they sound very inconvenient. :\
