    I have to admit, I had a love/hate relationship with Wii Sports Club. To get the positives out of the way, it looks like a slightly shinier version of the game, there's neat online competition from around the world, and players could share posts on their successes and failures playing against others, and you could earn little achievement stamps.

    As for the negatives, well... first off, I wasn't a fan of the forced use of the motion plus. The original Wii game pretty much read my movements just fine years ago, and having to calibrate every few minutes with the motion plus got annoying. Second, using the gamepad to play golf just felt unnecessary. You place it on the ground like a golfball and proceed to swing... why is that needed exactly?

    Lastly playing Boxing two handed required two motion plus accessories, the problem with that is that I've only ever owned one and some places online still sell them for around $10 for that little chunk of plastic. Again, something that didn't need changed from the original game. Well aside from those nitpicks, I still enjoyed my two favorite sports, bowling and baseball.

    To sum up, Wii Sports Club was a pretty okay-ish reworked port. It has its flaws but is still playable. I hope we'll see more Mii integrated games in the future for the Switch.
