Friend Requests

Miiverse is a really cool and amazing feature on the Wii U (2 bad it's ending) But there's something I've wanted to ask. How come only 13+ get to send friend requests? If Nintendo has parental controls then your parents can decide if you can accept or send friend requests. Yes! I know some kids might give away their personal info, but there is also kids who are responsible enough.

    yes, but other people out there may be a bad influence, or be trying to do bad things to the younger kids. It may not be because the kids are not responsible, but because people are not always responsible themselves.
