...run in a "Nah,nah! You can't get me!" manner. While your concentration is on them, your opponent (Preferably an really good player and don't really need any help) use it as opportunity to take you out. Should you overcome and win your ordeal, you get reported on for crashing the taunt party. Even if you accidentally crashed it. That's why I dislike taunt parties because of that factor alone.

So if you want to go on For Fun but want to avoid taunt parties, go on For Fun Team Battle. But beware. You might get a teammate that won't help you at all and want to just lollygag and do nothing while your opponents gang up on you, thus costing you the match. I've experienced that at least once. This is why I mostly play with friends and playing with random strangers less. At least, I'll be...

Oh I already found team mode players are more likely to actually fight. At least I was lucky enough to get a useful teammate my first time- a DK main with some name related to "Luffy" if I remember. I haven't really played online since. Maybe I should give it another try while we still have it.

@ NewLeif I really agree on that. The system that they have in place for online multiplayer with strangers is really questionable. They're on point with being idle thing. But when it comes to players that giving others grief (i.e. targeting one player only) and constantly purposely SD over and over in free for alls and team battles however, it gives them a free pass and no penalty at all.

And don't get me started on the report function. Players (Especially novices as they do this way too often) abuse it all because you defeated them in a certain manner (i.e. b-airing them to the side of the stage while they are recovering, they bounce off it and plummet to their doom or meteor smashing them to the abyss). I can understand if they disrespectfully repeatedly crouch after they KOed...

...them. But that really ridiculous to report people on something silly like someone has bad lag. It's unbearable yes. Is it a reportable offense? Nope. Just leave the match and move on. Now if they are lagging on purpose and having tremendous input lag (i.e. they are repeatedly crouching in a disrespectful manner to let you know that they are doing it on purpose), then I can understand about that

@ OmegaBrawl I don't think characters should be hated. I dislike what trolls do with Ness and Lucas, but I don't hate them because of those trolls (As I use them from time to time).

Speaking of useless teammates:have you ever been matched with someone who intentionally throws the match via numerous SDs?(Stopping or getting hit THEN intentionally jumping offstage so they don’t disconnect.) ^ What happened the one time I decided to try Team FF again…
