it took me until now to realize that amiibo are dead game characters case in smash for on the new 3ds it says word from word (touch an amiibo on the screen to bring to life) ←bring to life plus I guess brawl also helps with this case in the story mode when a character is defeated they turn into a trophy or amiibo
