I'm not a graphics fanboy, but why couldn't Breath of the Wild be 1080p whilst docked? The Switch reaches almost 800 gflops in TV mode and the Wii U reaches around 350 gflops, so there should be a bigger difference between Breath of the Wild on the Wii U and Switch.

Keep in mind one important thing: Breath of the Wild is a Wii U game that was ported, not a Switch game. So the game was meant to show the Wii U's capabilities, not the Switch's.

Also, the Switch isn't that more powerful than the Wiiu. It's running on a Tegra chip afterall.

  • @LEX The Switch in handheld mode is more powerful than the Wii U and the dock is shown to increase power, so it has to be at least 350 gflops more powerful than Wii U in docked mode.
