Question

How technical do you want your dream character?

On a scale of Cloud (braindead) to PAC-MAN (blind seer), how difficult to you want your ideal newcomer to play efficiently? For L-Block, I'm thinking around Mega Man. Its weak, short-ranged normals force it to use its block drop and rising Tetris logo to annoy the opponent and force them to approach at strange angles.

    I want my Character [Hopefully either Zero or Shantae] to be PacMan levels of Technical but not being a Zoner. I just want them to have a High Skill Ceiling because A. I love Technical Play & B. I want to feel as if I earned my victories instead of Get Wins Quickly Characters like Cloud

    I'm thinking a weak grab game to balance its powerful and lagless projectile, S/Z-Block. Dair instantly warps it to the nearest terrain below it, so using it above a pit means instant death, and that raises the skill ceiling. Inanimate objects aren't typically fast movers so I'm thinking L-Block as a zoner/griefer-type fighter that challenges the problem-solving skills of its opponents.

    Zero can have ALL of his moves & Boss Abilities from Megaman X 1-6 all compiled into his tilts, aerials, Smashs, & specials, & all work differently with effects or ability that are used to adapt, setup, mixups, land, combo, read defensive habits, offense etc. I just want a highly technical character that takes ALOT Of training to master

    For a Monster Hunter character they should play like the game. You hit and run and have to know when to dodge to avoid hits. Its all about dancing around the enemy and striking when you can and avoiding doing things that will get you hit.

    Honestly I'd want Tails to be PAC MAN levels of difficult. He'd probably be the only character I'd use anyway even if he was the worst.
