Why do people LEGITIMATELY think Sonic is annoying!?

There are far more annoying characters like Toad, Peach, Toadett, Wario, Waluigi, etc. People who say that are IGN Employees!

    I'm not saying simple characters are a bad thing, it's just that Sonic's 90's attitude can come across as annoying to some who want to live in the 2000's.

    Personally his rushdown style in Smash is a pain, but I just spam him with hadoukens to make him more cautious. However I have absolutely no problem with the character. The games are alright, some really good, some meh, some horrible, I looked forward to watching Sonic X back when 4kids was called the Foxbox. Honestly that 90's attitude gives the character charm and Sonic's twitter has great memes

    Everything I want to say has already been said. He is stuck in a typical 90s American kid too cool for school attitude. I love Sonic but it took him until Lost World to show a slight change in personality.

    I can agree that Wario is more annoying than Sonic; i can't post here, but Wario said some bad words in Mario Kart 7, Mario Golf: World Tour. He was a villain in Super Smash Bros Brawl, intimidating the poor Lucas. I think Sonic is just annoying because he had bad games compared to Wario. Forget all those bad games, then you will see the good side of Sega's hedgehog.

    @Jack Sonic has had his times of being serious. He never always acted like a jerk. @ricky You’re one of the many who are the answer for that question because of your fake obsession. There are more characters than Sonic in this world, and it’s kind of slow for you to figure that out.

    I agree on this post. Bayonetta's are FAR more annoying. Sure, some Sonic's spam the spindash and the homing attack, but at least you can Dodge those easily. Bayonetta's on the other hand, spam side B, Up B, Up A midair, Side B, Up A midair, repeat. The thing with that is once the side B touches you, you can't dodge it. Bayonetta's are still easy to beat though.

    because Sonic in a few games says some cringy things but you can obviously tell that the writers we trying too hard to be funny but his dialogue just comes out sounding weird...For Example : "Mairrage ? No Way !"
