    Nintendo for the most part had already chose their path before anyone started criticising the Wii U. Nintendo have their future planned out well in advance & implement things in small steps. The criticism only woke Nintendo up to certain issues that they then concentrated on more, not that they didn't know about the problems in the first place.

    Unfortunately there are just some things that you can't wake Nintendo up to. I give Nintendo credit for the good Switch sales & better 3rd party support but I as a consumer & technofile still don't consider the Switch a success enough in the overall big picture to warrant me getting it yet. Why get something I know up front I will be frustrated with compared to elsewhere?

    They shouldn't get credit, but they aren't haters. Nintendo ultimately caused the change, but the people left feed back, which was both constructive critism and destructive criticism. If you call them haters, your basically calling all the Nintendo fans who wanted a better Nintendo, Haters.

    @Tigrex, constructive criticism is definitely okay, but straight bashing on a company for not doing certain things i don't think it's helpful! But yeah, sometimes companies like Nintendo need a kick in the eye!

    There are people who do bash a Console, so that Nintendo will understand that they dont need to be doing that. If someone owns something and says they dont like it, they could be caring about the company.

    I wouldn't necessarily say EVERY way, SSB4 is the better game IMO, but Smash 64 is a different experience worth trying as far as I'm concerned. There are certain stages that aren't in SSB4, and I miss Blastoise and Venusaur showing up in pokeballs (instead of the blatant Charizard favoritism we've gotten lately). Certain characters also have different moves (ex: Link's side smash).

    @DR.1UP - Yes, the Wii Shop Channel still appears on the Wii U in the Wii section & still works the same. Games get downloaded to the SD card section of the Wii U I think.
