    Meet Flash the Robo-Hedgehog, a failed "Fake Sonic" made by Dr. Eggman. He was originally meant to trick Sonic's friends into giving him the Chaos Emeralds, but something went wrong with his programming and he ended up teaming up with Sonic and friends instead of tricking them. Not before getting a total redesign, though.
