what weapon to use for pumpkin moon???

(the screen shot is my loadout) what should i use my loadout keeps on failing me for some reason ·_·

    I can think of three items I used that have rarely failed me: 1: The Flairon drops from Duke Fishron and does MASSIVE damage very quickly! 2: The Vampire Knives the keymold for the required key drops from any enemy in the crimson (it's pretty rare though) it doesn't do much damage, but it recovers a bit of health every time you hit an enemy with them!

    finish your armour set then build an arena with traps then do a quick run through to get some of the weapons from the moon and use them
