    Really, it doesn't matter when you pull it since it's not the best weapon anyways. It's more of a trophy than a monster slayer. I think you need the skill free element to get the blast part of it,the blast element on it isn't even that high, and the sharpness and raw damage don't even make up for the lack of element. I'm not completely sure on that free element part though.
