The music of 'A Link to the Past' is completely overlooked, especially by the younger crowd so entranced by 'Ocarina of Time', 'Majora's Mask', and 'Wind Waker'. The music of 'A Link to the Past' is superbly fitting, original, and yet still reminiscent of the original 'Legend of Zelda. The use and placement of it within the game is also masterfully done, and all with only 16bits.

    The soundtrack is awesome. Only more variety would have been nice (every dungeon has the same music). Other than that, it is great.

    Now, I'm not saying that Phantom Hourglass is a very good Zelda game or... game... but its soundtrack draws a lot of inspiration A Link to The Past. The game itself is lots of fun the first time but the lack of choice/options at any given moment makes Phantom Hourglass not very fun to revisit. The multiplayer, however, is top-notch.
