Posting this for anyone new to XCX, or rpgs in general: looted gear is always better than store bought equipment. Looted weapons and armor usually come with much better battle traits and can be upgraded more often than the equipment you'll find in the shop. So if you really want the best for your team and their skells, be prepared to farm for it.

  • There is also KUROGANE, the gravity version of Homura, which has the same look but is level 50. Just recently found out it exists.

  • Never heard of KUROGANE before. Which time attack mission do you get it from? Or is it from the same one?

  • It's a reward from completing the squad #11 special mission called "The Warlord's Challenge" if I remember correct.

  • That means someone else also took and finished the mission before you abandon it. Squad missions can be multi-hosted the same mission as long as it's not yet completed, right?

  • I have no idea, since it was my first time doing a squad mission (other than GN). The game allows you to use your own team, so I brought Doug, Irina, and H.B. But it's frustrating to know I went to all that trouble to get it to appear, just for someone else to sn@tch it up while I was busy finishing with the preceding one ("Free Electricity"). That sux.

  • Yeah. Not only it's a random reward, squad #11 is hard to find. Then there's those players who snatches missions... sigh...

  • Sui, you should create your own website, blog, or discord. Your tips are very helpful!

  • Sui you should also check your information, a lot of the stuff you say is incorrect. @TABS doubt you will ever see this, but HOMURA and KUROGANE can also drop from the story, they will have only the first trait and be blue tier (the traits are still set)
