    ~Have it be about Spring Man's journey to the top of the Grand Prix. Bonus points for making it an underdog, Ash-Ketchum-style story [except Spring Man will actually win.] ~Have him face "easier" opponents like Min-Min, Ninjara, and Mechanica before going on to harder ones like Master Mummy [And I mean easier in the eyes of the anime. All mains can be justified in the actual game. Plz don kill me]

    ~Bonus points for character interaction. The more, the better: *Everyone he beats will respect him, but the first few become his friends and support him from then on. *Have Min-Min be SM's childhood friend. *Have Ninjara or Master Mummy take a mentor role after SM beats them. *Have Ribbon Girl start at the same low tier as SM, so the two work their way up simultaneously before a final showdown.

    And of course, ~The finale is Max Brass, but with Hedlok interrupting the fight half-way through. SM beats him in dramatic anime-protagonist style, finishes his fight with MB fair and square, becomes champ, yada yada yada, Happily ever after, The End.

    In Bowser's inside story she not only guided both M&L, but also Bowser from his inside. They had a funny relationship of 'boss' and 'minion', despite she often was bossy with the koopa inverting the roles on that way. And yes, she returns in dream team and paper jam, being the official guide for the bros.
